Varsity Hockey · Carson Korte selected to 2021 MHSHCA Dream Team

With team success, individual accolades follow. Senior Carson Korte was selected to the 2021 MHSHCA Dream Team. This honor is awarded by high school hockey head coaches across the state of Michigan. The players selected to the Dream Team are from all three divisions and consists of the top three forwards, two defenseman, and goalie. Essentially the best starting lineup you could assemble at the high school level.

Here is what Rockford head coach, CJ Pobur, had to say about Carson and this prestigious honor, “This is an incredible accomplishment. Carson is the first player in Rockford history to receive this honor. [Combining regular season and playoffs] Carson led the state of Michigan with 32 goals in 22 games (52 total points). Carson also set a school record by scoring 1.45 goals per game played, scoring in 20 of Rockford’s 22 games. I wish I could say I was surprised, but he has earned it from being a dominant force all season.”
